Alan Smith to Manage UC4 Operations in the UK and Ireland
The UK is a crucial market where UC4 has huge potential to expand their customer base.
London, September 24, 2008 - UC4 Software, a leading global provider of workload automation, job scheduling and IT process optimization solutions, has appointed Alan Smith as Senior Vice President to manage its’ UK business.
Smith's experience of working across international markets, combined with his management and sales expertise, will support the company's ambitious expansion plans. He will assume responsibility for UC4's business operations in the UK and Ireland.

Smith joins UC4 from Verint Systems where he was UK & Ireland sales director, following the acquisition of Witness, where he doubled the UK business in 2007. His previous roles include 10 years working at BMC Software as regional sales director and managing director for UK, Middle East and Africa region. He graduated with an honours degree in Management Science from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
